Iran's foreign minister said in a Telegram post on Sunday night, October 18, that he had discussed regional issues with his Egyptian counterpart.

Araqchi said the conversation covered diplomatic efforts and initiatives aimed at easing tensions and maintaining stability in the region.

He added that he had also discussed regional issues with Pakistani Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar.

The conflict between the United States and Iran in recent months has heightened regional tensions.

However, diplomatic efforts to ease tensions between Iran and the United States, as well as between the Houthis and Saudi Arabia, have so far yielded no tangible results.
